Here in preparation for the Boss photo shoot I have sketched into the layouts to show a rough (not very well drawn – my art skills weren’t amazing that day) sketch of what I am looking for for that photo shoot (the look of the image)
For the first of the two layouts (above) I would like to sum up what the guide dogs do at the training centre and show the close relationship that there is between the person and the dog. I feel this one behind the other approach works well for the portrait shot as it uses the height of the space well.
For the second of the two layouts (below) I have chosen to try and look more at the variety that they have at the training centre. To have all of the dogs in a row to fill the foreground, or maybe they might be playing, and then have the boss in the background, possibly pretending to do a check or something along those lines.
